My Journey into energy healing began in 2012. I read Kathleen Prasad's first book ("Animal Reiki - Using Energy to Heal the Animals in Your Life") and I knew I had to do this. I felt drawn to take training from Kathleen, so I travelled to California in 2012 to receive Reiki 1 (Shoden) and Reiki 2 (Okuden) certification. I received Reiki 3 (Shinpiden) the following year and I have continued to study with Kathleen Prasad (Animal Reiki Source) and Frans Stiene (International House of Reiki), expanding and deepening my skills. In February 2013, I registered my business name with the Province of Manitoba.
Although Reiki is my main practice, I've added other modalities such as AromaTouch Technique and Indian Head Massage to my available services. I have also studied with Tina Zion (Medical Intuitive ) and Gaye Hanson (Old Buffalo Institute).
I am located in Winnipeg, Canada and have a home-based treatment room. I also travel to the client's home if that is more convenient for them. Animal Reiki treatments take place in the animal's home or wherever they feel most comfortable.

Animal Reiki
Animals respond intuitively to Reiki's power to support the healing of physical illnesses, injuries, and emotional challenges.
Reiki doesn't require physical contact, and is an ideal therapy for all animals. This gentle, meditative connection with your animal assists in physical and emotional healing.

Reiki is especially beneficial for animals in stressful conditions, recovering from surgery, or approaching transition from life.Treatment for pets is done at your home or an external location, where your pet is most comfortable. Animals sense energy more acutely than we do and will be given the freedom to walk away from the energy if needed.
Animal Reiki treatments are not dependent upon physical contact for success, so they are ideal for use with shelter animals, wild animals, animals under medical care, or animals who are fearful, skittish, or aggressive. For animals who are healthy, Reiki enhances relaxation and provides a sense of peace and contentment. For animals who are ill, Reiki is a safe complement to other forms of healing and can reduce the side effects of medication.

ANIMAL REIKI DISTANT HEALING SESSIONS
When offering a “Distance Healing" session, I am not in the same room as the animal, but I am still sharing the “Reiki space” of loving healing energy. Distance sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions, and are often preferable if an animal is excitable, anxious around strangers, or very ill.
