My Journey into energy healing began in 2012. I read Kathleen Prasad's first book ("Animal Reiki - Using Energy to Heal the Animals in Your Life") and I knew I had to do this. I felt drawn to take training from Kathleen, so I travelled to California in 2012 to receive Reiki 1 (Shoden) and Reiki 2 (Okuden) certification. I received Reiki 3 (Shinpiden) the following year and I have continued to study with Kathleen Prasad (Animal Reiki Source) and Frans Stiene (International House of Reiki), expanding and deepening my skills. In February 2013, I registered my business name with the Province of Manitoba.
Although Reiki is my main practice, I've added other modalities such as AromaTouch Technique and Indian Head Massage to my available services. I have also studied with Tina Zion (Medical Intuitive ) and Gaye Hanson (Old Buffalo Institute).
I am located in Winnipeg, Canada and have a home-based treatment room. I also travel to the client's home if that is more convenient for them. Animal Reiki treatments take place in the animal's home or wherever they feel most comfortable.

Reiki
REI means Universal
KI means Life Force Energy
Reiki treats the whole person -- body, emotions, mind and spirit.
Clients have experienced deep relaxation, feelings of peace, physical well-being, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing system used for “hands-on” and "distant" healing. Restorative energy is channelled through the practitioner to the person, who lies fully-clothed on the massage table. Reiki heals by restoring balance on many levels -- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Everyone’s needs are different. Depending on the situation, results can be seen immediately or within a day or two. Sometimes it is necessary to have several sessions over a short period of time.
Reiki is not a substitute for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Reiki is intended to complement and enhance traditional medical treatment.
REIKI BRINGS PEACE AND CALM
Sometimes our world is filled with pain, worry, grief, medical concerns, and other challenges. A Reiki treatment helps to ease emotional and physical pain. Reiki helps bring peace and relaxation to those dealing with stress, depression or anxiety. Reiki helps to maintain health and provides a feeling of peace.
